Regional Sustainable Manufacturing

With funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), WMSA is managing a regional initiative in partnership with The Right Place, Inc. to advance sustainable environmental practices related to manufacturing in West Michigan.

The initiative will link the national resources and expertise of the EPA and other federal agencies to West Michigan firms. The initiative includes creating broad-based awareness of sustainable principles and practices, increasing participation in the Green Supplier Network and leveraging the collaborative capital from the GrandWalk Project to combine sustainability and urban redevelopment.

This initiative will help manufacturers in the region work together for mutual benefit.
